He’s married to the Queen’s granddaughter, Zara Tindall, and Royal Expert and Commentator, Michael Cole, believes he’ll come to regret his decision to appear on the ITV show.

Mike has been a popular contestant on the show so far, with viewers expressing how much they enjoy seeing the star on the show on social media.

Despite this, in an exclusive chat with The Sun, Michael weighed in on the conversation, and said: “I thought immediately, Mike Tindall. This is a very unwise decision.

“It’s an embarrassment. There's nothing to gain, except money. Now, I'm quite surprised that Mike Tindall doesn't know this, I can only imagine that he needs the money or wants the money to finance what I imagine is quite an expensive lifestyle with three young children.

“He ought to know better is all I can say, because the only thing he has got to gain out of this is the money.”

Tindall is said to have £15.7million, thanks to brand partnerships, sports deals and his The Good, The Bad & The Rugby podcast.

He’s rumoured to have been paid up to £150,000 for his appearance.

The commentator went on to say he’d have thought Mike would’ve had “enough excitement on the rugby pitch” and wouldn’t need to take part in the show.

He added: “One wonders why he has to do it. I come back to what I started with. I think it's a very unwise decision. And perhaps it's one he will regret.

“These are relatives of The King. These are the grandchildren of his sister Princess Royal, the three little children that they have. It's going to impinge upon them. What is going to happen in the jungle that's going to in any way enhance his reputation?

“It's not an enterprise that somebody in the Royal Family ought to be contemplating.”

Fans of the show have been very invested in watching Mike's journey play out.
