TIPPING Point fans were left in awe as host Ben Shephard celebrated a record-breaking win.
As ever, host Ben was on hand to welcome the players to the ITV studio for their chance to win some cash.
In tonight's episode, one hopeful did just that as he celebrated an astonishing win.
Morgan, a university student, put in a very impressive performance as he secured himself an eye-watering £2600 in the very first opening round, racing well ahead of his fellow competitors.
The forensics student was appearing on the show alongside Nicky and Ian and blew away his fellow competitors with his stellar performance.
He showed off a wealth of knowledge as he managed to power through the round and build up the hefty sum.

One fan said of Morgan's incredible round: “Everybody go home! Morgan's won #TippingPoint."
Another fan pointed out that some players rarely get that amount of money in the whole programme let alone the first round.
The wrote: “Wow, I don’t believe this, Morgan’s just broke the £2000 mark. Some people have won the final with even less than that."
A third said: “Surely this is one of the highest scoring games in #TippingPoint history?!”

Nicky and Ian were left trailing behind with just £750 and £250 in the prize pot respectively.
More fans were quick to call out that the winner had already been secured following Morgan's opening round.
One wrote on Twitter: “Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner early. Yet again.”
Whilst one disgruntled fan added: “Well, that’s Morgan in the final. Other 2 might as well go home.”
One even fumed that they were considering 'switching off', as they said: “Might as well switch off we already have a winner in the first round!”
Despite an worthy performance and being able to rack up £3500 for his final round, Morgan was unable to get any more counters over the mark.
The hopeful joked to host Ben: “I think used all my luck in the first round. It’s finally run out.”
