AUF Wiedersehn, Pet first graced our screens almost 40 years ago.
The series followed seven British construction workers who leave the United Kingdom to search for employment overseas, but where are the cast now?
Tim Healy
Tim Healy played Dennis Patterson in Auf Wiedersehn, Pet.
Bricklayer Dennis was seen as the leader of the lads in Germany, mostly keeping them in line and sorting out any problems.
Tim has also appeared in multiple other TV shows including Boys From The Bush (1991), Breezeblock (2002), Benidorm (2009), Waterloo Road (2009) and Still Open All Hours (2014).

Jimmy Nail
Jimmy Nail was born in Longbenton, North Tyneside, in 1954.
He played the role of main character of brickie, Leonard 'Oz' Osbourne, despite originally auditioning to be an extra.
Jimmy has also worked in music as well as the acting industry.
In 1985, his cover of Rose Royce’s Love Don’t Live Here Anymore was a UK hit and in 1992, he returned to the charts with Ain’t No Doubt which became his biggest hit which reached number 1.

Kevin Whately
Kevin took on the role Geordie bricklayer Neville Hope.
He told at the time of the first show in 1983: "Each episode is a little play on its own. When we first got the scripts we all had a real buzz. They were certainly the best television scripts I’d ever read."
He has gone on to be in many TV programmes including Lewis but most recently has appeared on Lorraine, Pointless Celebrities, and Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
Timothy Spall
Timothy Spall played Barry Taylor, the Brummie electrician in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.
Since then he has become a household name.
He received critical acclaim for his performance in Secrets & Lies in 1996, and was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role.
Timothy has also taken on other roles including Simon Graham in The Last Samurai (2003), Peter Pettigrew in the Harry Potter film series (2004-2010), Albert Pierrepoint in Pierrepoint (2005), Beadle Bamford in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007), Peter Taylor in The Damned United (2009), and Winston Churchill in The King’s Speech (2010).
He was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2000 New Year Honours.
Christopher Fairbank
Chris Fairbank played ex-con Moxey (aka Albert Moxey), a Liverpudlian plasterer in the show.
He has also found success in other shows such as Sapphire and Steel, The Professionals, and The Scarlet Pimpernel.
He also used his voice in two Aardman feature-length films, Curse of the Were-Rabbit and Flushed Away.
In 2011, Fairbank starred in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
In 2017 he played Ibbotson, Delaney’s tenant farmer in BBC One’s drama Taboo.
Pat Roach
Pat Roach played bricklayer Brian 'Bomber' Busbridge in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.
He appeared in the Indiana Jones films, and in the role of Petty Officer Edgar Evans in the television production The Last Place on Earth.
He passed away aged 67 in 2004.
Gary Holton
Gary Holton who played Auf Wiedersehen Pet's cheeky-chappie, womanising Cockney carpenter, Wayne Norris, died in October 1985 during production of the second series of the show.
