Only Connect viewers all have the same complaint after latest BBC schedule shake-up
ONLY Connect fans were left scratching their heads at the latest edition of the show amid a series of BBC schedule shake-ups.
Victoria Coren Mitchell was back to present the notoriously challenging BBC Two quiz show which features two teams facing off against each other called Jugadores and Seagulls.
As the show entered its final few playing minuets both teams were neck and neck with 19 points apiece.
As such, it was up to the missing vowel round to determine which side was going to be the winner of the quiz show.
The round consists of the players being tasked with filling in a word, title or phrase with the missing vowels after being informed how many of the mystery phrase there is.
However, even though the players were able to correctly answer some of the difficult word problems, fans of the programme at home were shocked at how difficult the round was proving to be for them as many fans argued they were unable to get a single one right.

One fan moaned online: "That was a hard missing vowels round!"
Another fumed: "The missing vowels round was so difficult tonight! I usually do quite well but only one correct this time. #OnlyConnect."
A third wrote on Twitter: "Didn't manage any missing vowels #onlyconnect tonight 😢. But worth watching just for the Portillo quip 🥄"
A fourth fan was quick to add of the tough round: "Anyone else think the Missing Vowels round was an absolute b*****d on tonight’s #onlyconnect?"
As a fifth disgruntled fan said: "That was a horrible missing vowels round."
It comes amid another week of BBC Two schedule shake-ups with Only Connect taking centre stage.
The channel's popular Monday night quizzing block has been booted for a second week running in favour of coverage of the Rugby World Cup.
Only Connect usually airs on Monday evening alongside other quizzing stalwarts University Challenge and Mastermind but the Beeb has sensationally axed the three programmes from airing in their regular slot in favour of the sporting coverage.
The shows have been moved a full day later to Tuesday in new time slots.
The shake-up in schedule now means the show faces off against Channel 4 ratings hit The Great British Bake Off.
Only Connect next airs in its new slot of Tuesday at 8pm on BBC Two.
