Who won The Great British Bake Off 2022?
AFTER ten long weeks in the famous white tent, The Great British Bake Off has now crowned a winner.
A dozen bakers kicked off the competition, but only one could take home the title of Bake Off 2022 champion.

Who won The Great British Bake Off 2022?
The Great British Bake Off saw a total of twelve bakers face 30 challenges over 10 episodes for its thirteenth season.
The contestants have baked everything from a showstopper that resembled their home to a 3D biscuit mask, trick-or-treat piñata, Smorgastarta and floating islands.
While none of it was easy, they all managed to do themselves proud.
In the final episode, Syabira, Abdul and Sandro had to battle it out one last time for their final ever challenges.

The three finalists put their all into this series and produced amazing baking creations, but there could only be one winner.
Syabira, 32, from London, was crowned the Great British Bake Off 2022 winner.
The Malaysian-born baker showed off her impressive skills in the kitchen once again and secured her spot as the Top Baker of the series.
On hearing her win, Syabira said: “Thank you so much. I can’t believe it, honestly it hasn’t sunk in yet, this is the biggest achievement in my life.

“All the hard work, all the trial and error, it has all been worth it. I am very very proud.
"I think I am coming out as a new person after this competition, I became more confident and I trusted my instincts.
"We can do anything we want as long as we have all of our heart and we work for it."
For their last ever signature, the three finalists had to make a seasonal summer picnic comprising of small vegetarian pies, mini cakes, as well as bake their own classic white bread loaf to make finger sandwiches from.
Next was a tricky Technical in which they had to create a summer pudding bombe.
The bakers finished with an edible sculpture of Our Beautiful Planet in the stunning Showstopper.
Throughout the series, Syabira managed to show off her baking skills, winning Star Baker title an impressive three times before winning.
She started baking in 2017 with a red velvet cake, which reminded her of the treats she shared with her friends back home.
As a baker, she is all about giving Malaysian flavour twists to British classics – chicken rendang Cornish pasties are a particular favourite.
Syabira has been fan favourite on Bake Off with her detailed bakes and use of spices.
Who was voted off Bake Off throughout the weeks?
Every week one person sadly saw their Bake Off experience come to an end.

- Week Four: Rebs, 23, a Masters student from County Antrim and James, 25, a nuclear scientist from Cumbria
- Week Three: No contestants left the tent
- Week Two: Maisam, 18, a sales assistant from Cornwall
- Week One: Will, 45, a former charity director from London
Who won Star Baker throughout the weeks?
Each episode saw one lucky contestant get the coveted title of Star Baker.
