First look at Matt Hancock in Australia as he quarantines in £2m mansion with huge pool before I’m A Celebrity
MATT Hancock is set to enter the jungle today after isolating at a stunning £2million five-bedroom beach house ahead of starring on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
The former Health Secretary, 44, who had to resign after The Sun exposed him for breaking his own lockdown rules, has been isolating in luxury in line with ITV’s strict quarantine rules after landing at Brisbane Airport last Tuesday night.
Matt, who was also granted special permission to use the internet during his quarantine, has been treated to his own private pool and welcome hamper along with “luxurious linen and gorgeous toiletries” during his stay at the villa.
The beach house, which is located just one minute from the shore of the Gold Coast and sleeps ten, can be rented for a minimum of three nights for at least £596 (1,052 AUD) per night.
However the Tory MP isolated for eight nights before heading into the jungle which would cost at least £4,768.
Meanwhile Matt brushed off nerves and smiled when asked by The Sun how he felt about eating kangaroo penis as he enjoyed his final night of luxury before heading into the jungle today.

An insider said: “Matt will certainly be getting a shock to the system when he goes from living in a luxurious beach house to slumming it in the camp.
“He has even had access to his laptop as he continued to work throughout his stay and clearly spared no expense for his isolation period before heading into the jungle.
“Lots of the celebs were based in modest beach houses with just music and a selection of films to occupy them - they are in for a shock when they find out Matt has been relaxing in a huge beach house with his luxuries.”
A spokesperson for Matt Hancock said: "The second reading of Matt's Dyslexia Screening and Teacher Training Bill is just days after I'm A Celebrity... finishes. Matt doesn't expect to serve in government again, so this is an amazing opportunity for him to raise the profile of his dyslexia campaign and to talk about an issue he really cares about in front of millions of people.

"Matt will be making a donation to St Nicholas Hospice in Suffolk and causes supporting dyslexia - including the British Dyslexia Association, off the back of his appearance. He will, of course, declare the amount he receives from the show to Parliament to ensure complete transparency, as normal."
Westminster insiders have told how the Tory MP faces a barrage of votes from those inside his own party - as well as angry members of the public as he heads into the I'm A Celebrity jungle.
Sources say Matt sprung the I'm A Celeb news on stunned Conservative colleagues after failing to get promoted in Rishi Sunak's reshuffle late last week.
He's had the whip removed - which means he can't vote in Parliament as a Tory - and is facing massive backlash from the public about going into the jungle.
An insider told The Sun: "I think there'll be plenty of calls from Westminster when it comes to putting creepy crawlies down his pants and making him eat kangaroo balls or whatever."
