The ITV show sees celebrities channel their inner drag queens in a competition like no other.

The Scottish presenter showed off her radiant skin with subtle makeup and oozed glamour with a fresh blow dry.

But one Twitter user appeared to throw shade at the star, as they penned: “The host of Queens for the Night is very unconvincing as a woman.”

Lorraine opted to see a funny side to the comment, and replied with a string of laughing face emojis.

Getting in on the act, Lorraine joined a group of professional drag acts for her showstopping entrance on the show.

In her element, the chat show host looked incredible as she was lifted above their heads.

Despite the social media user’s remark, others praised the star for her glamorous look while presenting.

"Wow Lorraine looks good for her age! #QueensForTheNight,” one person wrote.

Another posted: "Lorraine looks stunning tonight and so much younger. #QueensForTheNight"

A third said: "Lorraine Kelly looks so different, so looks great and that dress! #QueensForTheNight.”

Lorraine was joined by the judging panel which is made up of Spice Girl and pop icon Melanie C, stand-up comedian Rob Beckett, World famous Drag artist Courtney Act and star of Bad Education and West End hit Everybody's Talking About Jamie, Layton Williams.

Coronation Street favourite Simon Gregson took on the challenge of being a drag queen for the night.

He underwent the ultimate drag makeover which is miles away from what he's used to on the cobbles.

When asked what kind of drag queen he thought he will be, Gregson replied: "I think I’ll be a larger-than-life drag queen, very loud. I think that fits in with me quite well.
