Celebrity Lingo fans all say the same thing as Corrie legend Sally Dynevor appears on the game show

CELEBRITY Lingo viewers were all left asking the same question after Coronation Street legend Sally Dynevor appeared on the game show.

The actress - who plays Sally Metcalfe on the ITV show - was joined by co-star Jennie McAlpine as they went head-to-head with This Morning's Josie Gibson and Zoe Williams and Steps bandmates Ian 'H' Watkins and Claire Richards.

Appearing on Saturday's show with host RuPaul, soap star Jennie was off to a flying start.

But fans couldn't help but notice that her teammate Sally had suddenly "disappeared".

A number of viewers were left in stitches after Sally took a backseat, leaving her fellow co-star to answer the majority of the word related questions.

One viewer joked: "I know Sally isn’t contributing at all at the moment, but I think Jennie should give her a little bit of the podium."

Another posted: "#celebritylingo nice to see Jennie is playing on her own."

A third hilariously shared: "Where has Sally disappeared to. #celebritylingo"

Luckily, Sally and Jennie did enough to get them to the final two, after Ian and Claire were knocked out in the first round.

But they were beaten by Josie and Zoe, and went home with £1,000 for charity CALM.

The This Morning duo went all the way and managed to secure £5,700 in the penultimate round.

In the final game, the pair were quick off the draw as they answered the Lingo correctly and doubled their jackpot to £11,400.

TV doctor Zoe said about winning the money: "It is very emotional as the charity just about survived the pandemic as a small charity, we'll change some lives with that money."
