ACTRESS Martine McCutcheon went back to her roots as she returned to East London and stunned in a leather jacket and trousers outfit.

The former Eastenders actress looked slimmer than ever as she rocked skintight trousers and posted to Instagram.

Martine shared a series of photos of her prancing around with a big smile on her face.

In one image, she took a selfie, beaming at the camera and captioned the snap: "Back in my hood."

Posting to her Instagram stories, the star shared that she was filming in Hackney, chatting to the camera as she rocked shades and wrote: "Comforting to be back in East London doing a quick bit of filming. #exciting #filming #hackney"

Martine filmed her feet as she walked to the song 'Every Step I Take' wearing black boots, followed by a video of her twirling toward the camera and smiling in the skintight outfit that showcased her slim figure.

The star looked content as she posted from her home-town, despite making headlines recently with personal struggles.

Martine, who is originally from Hackney, candidly opened up about her marriage recently, stating she doesn't have a "perfect relationship" with her husband, singer Jack McManus, despite the pair renewing their vows after 10 years of marriage, just last month.

The TV personality also endured a loss in her family during October, after the sudden death of her beloved brother Laurence John, at just 31-years-old.

Martine took to social media to thank her followers for their outpouring of condolences.

She wrote: “Thank you for your amazing messages of love and support regarding the loss of my brother LJ.

“They mean the world to me and my family.”

The star also asked for privacy during her grieving period, continuing: “Due to my job, I also have to bear in the mind the press interest and I naturally want to protect my family at this time."
