EastEnders spoilers: New romance for Whitney Dean as she makes shock discovery
MONTHS have passed since Kush Kazemi's death but Whitney Dean is still single.
Yet when she makes a discovery about Zack Hudson, the EastEnders character played by Shona McGarty reflects on her love life.
BBC One viewers were given a nasty shock in April, 2021, when serial killer Gray Atkins killed Kush Kazemi in a brutal attempt to keep Whitney close to him.
Since her fiancé's death, Whitney focused on shedding light on Gray's crimes after a brief romance with the murderer and finding out he had murdered his first bride Chantelle.
When Gray was eventually arrested and thrown behind bars, Whitney became a constant source of support for his second wife Chelsea Fox, and even moved in with her.
But she has yet to find another person who she could develop a romantic bond with.

In recent scenes, she was seen sharing palpable chemistry with Finlay Baker.
Finlay and his brother Felix moved in with Chelsea and Whitney - but could the house share lead to anything serious?
Whitney will be thinking it all through in scenes due to air next week, as she feels disgruntled about her love life.
She's soon distracted by a shock discovery about Zack Hudson, who is also continuously bumping into troublemaker Sam Mitchell.
The hunk even cheated on his then-girlfriend Nancy Carter with Sam.
After her discovery, Whitney is surprised to catch Zack in deep thought about his situation.
Could it push Whitney to move forward with Finlay?
The pair have clearly had sights on one another since they first met but sharing a home and the petty domestic tasks it involves could drive a wedge between them.

But, as hinted above, trusting another man may be difficult for Whitney.
Before Gray Atkins murdered the love of her life - which she found out prior to him being arrested - Whitney hasn't been the luckiest in matters of the heart.
She most notably almost tied the knot with Callum Highway, only for him to realise he actually loved Ben Mitchell.
