Come Dine With Me fans have a lot of complaints about ‘nightmare’ contestant at dinner party
COME Dine With Me fans were not happy with one contestant at the latest dinner party.
The Channel 4 programme was in Manchester for the opening dinner party of the week where it was fishmonger Hayley welcoming the group together for the first time at her underwater, nautical themed party.
Competing alongside Hayley was smart business developer and horse enthusiast Nick, who enjoys the finer things in life, glam restaurant manager Cam, fitness fanatic James and ‘passionate’ Italian jeweler Angela.
However Angela’s ‘Under the Sea’ theme did not get off to a great start with Cam choosing to opt out of the fancy dress theme.
She said: “I don’t like fancy dress and I’m not going to participate in the fancy dress but I’m going to make myself look as under the sea as possible.”
Whilst the other guest went full force with the outfits, including Nick dressing as a sailor, Cam rocked up in her usual going out attire.

It wasn’t long before she was left utterly repulsed at the act of having to fillet her own fish during the dinner party and remarked on how bad the smell was.
Fans of the show were quick to label Cam a nightmare dinner party guest and shared their thoughts about her online.
One fan referred to Cam as the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory character Veruca Salt, known for moaning and complaining to get her own way.
They wrote online: “This young girl is a proper little veruca salts so far.”

Another added of Cam: “When there’s someone you take an instant dislike to, you know it’s going to be a long week!”
One disgruntled fan wrote: “She doesn't like the sea, can't swim....eats in the bath,” to which another viewer replied: “She’s a bloody nightmare!”
A further watcher added a GIF of someone shaking in anger along with the caption: ”I will not dress up !! 😂,” referring to Cam’s choice to opt out of fancy dress.
A fifth said: “No you can’t expect princess veruca to do this task.”
Hayley managed to score an impressive 33 after receiving a nine as well as three eight’s in the scores.
