Towie’s Ella Rae Wise dumped from reality dating show by furious producers

TOWIE star Ella Rae Wise has been axed from Celebrity Dinner Date after bosses discovered she was no longer single.

The much talked about 22-year-old had been signed up to find love on the cooking dating show, but she is in fact seeing Ibiza Weekender hunk Callum Izzard.

An insider said: "The bookers for the show were led to believe that Ella was single when she signed up to film, so they were not best pleased when it came out in the press that she was seeing Callum.

"They dropped her immediately and replaced her with another famous face. It's disappointing for them as Ella is a face of the channel, so she was the perfect fit for the show, but they can't have celebs going on dates and looking for romance who aren't genuinely available - it's a bad look for the show."

Last month The Sun revealed that Ella Rae was seeing Callum and they confirmed their romance with a snog in a nightclub.

The pair met while filming new MTV series The Challenge in Argentina and have formed a "strong bond".

An insider said at the time: "No one was expecting a relationship to blossom between Ella and Callum.

"They live on opposite ends of the country but hopefully they can make it work.

"Everyone is so happy to see Ella with a man who will respect her and treat her the way she deserves.”

It came as a surprise to fans because in August, Ella told The Sun that that she enjoys “cheeky snogs” with Pete Wicks.

At the time, she was dating her Towie co-star Jordan Brooks on the show and admitted her secret kisses with Pete had to stop as a result.

Ella and Jordan later split, with their breakup being played out on Towie, and she has been seen on a “mates date” with Pete on the reality show since.
