Vernon Kay reveals heartache as close pal dies suddenly
VERNON Kay has been left heartbroken following the sudden death of his close friend.
The 48-year-old shared his upset with fans today as he paid a moving tribute to Ian Trevor.
Ian was a well-loved paddock character and security manager for Formula E, but worked in security for many years and grew close to Vernon at the start of his career.
Known as ‘Big Ian’ he died suddenly at the age of 61 last week.

Vernon – who is married to Tess Daly – was inundated with messages of support from his fans.
TV presenter Nicki Shields told him: “Devastating. He loved you Vern. Every time I’d chat with Big Ian, the 2nd thing he would ask without fail… ‘Nick, is Vern here yet?’
