Strictly star James Bye’s wife Victoria breaks her silence after he was left in tears following emotional exit
STRICTLY Come Dancing star James Bye's wife Victoria praised him after he was left in tears during his emotional exit.
The EastEnders star, 38, found himself in the bottom two with popstar Fleur East, 35, on Sunday's results show.
After battling it out in the dance off, the judges unanimously saved Fleur and James was eliminated.
Mum-of-three Victoria said she was proud of her husband's journey in a lengthy post.
She wrote: "So… that was emotional.
"And there you go…. the Strictly journey is finally over. And what a journey it was.

"With a final bow & heartfelt thank you to the audience, a hug full of gratitude to Amy and a smile full of emotion to me. He hung up his dancing shoes for the final time.
"And I truly couldn’t be prouder."
Victoria - who is mum to Edward, aged eight, Louis, six, and Hugo three, added: "The boys are overwhelmed… full of pride and smiles (and overjoyed to have their best buddy back in the gang).
"And I’m just amazed by what he’s done. To be able to learn to dance like that, whilst working full time and trying to parent the rabble is just madness.

"Even this weekend– he was whipping up brekkie for the boys, emptying the dishwasher, (cleaning up the puddle of dog wee) before skipping out at 8.30am, ready to do battle with a bee (all whilst I was still blinking into my morning cuppa).
"He’s been a glittery, shimmying machine for over 2 months. And I’m not going to lie. We’re absolutely bloody shattered.
"But what he’s done and what he’s shown the boys it’s possible to do when you put your mind to it - is nothing short of incredible.
"And being there tonight applauding during the standing ovation, watching you - still smiling through happy tears, a true professional till the end. I felt truly lucky that you were mine. And so glad that you were coming home.
"And so that’s that. We’re officially hopping off the Strictly rollercoaster … I’m so grateful for our time on this journey… and so very grateful to Amy, our family and friends - and every single one of you lovely lot for the support.

During his exit speech, an emotional James said: "All I could do was go out there and do my best.
"I'm dancing against Fleur East; I went out there and give it my best but she was phenomenal, so I was up against it anyway.
"I had the best time on the show, I've got a friend for life, all I can do is thank the family."
Host Tess Daly said: "When you came to us, you had two priorities, one was to have fun and two was to make your boys proud."
Breaking down in tears, the actor said: "Don't say that Tess."
