House of Games viewers all have the same complaint about ‘tedious’ round
FANS of House of Games have been left fuming at the inclusion of one of the show’s mini-games.
The BBC Two quiz programme is fronted by Richard Osman and features four celebrity contestants playing a series of trivial games to win points and in a quest to take home a novelty prize.
This week the quiz show has featured a number of past contestants who performed notoriously badly during their first stint and are back for redemption.
Among the cast are comedian Suzi Ruffell, Janet Ellis, Dancing on Ice star Darren Harriott and presenter Radzi Chinyanganya.
But fans of the light-hearted show we’re left fuming at one ‘tedious’ round which was proving to be a turn-off.
The round in question was titled Mime Time and features the contestants picking a question and then having to mime out the answer in order for them and their partner to gain a point.

However, the round appeared to fall flat with fans at home who were left cringing at the screen at the awkward scenes.
One fan declared: “I'll never not complain about mime time. #HouseofGames.”
Another said: “This mime round is still tedious in the extreme.#houseofgames.”
Whilst a third raged that the game was killing off the show altogether, saying: “The mime round of #houseofgames kills the programme stone dead. The show’s cerebral, not physical. And it’s nothing like upbeat enough to match Give Us A Clue…”
As part of the round, comedy star Suzi excruciatingly acted out the Cats song Rum Tum Tugger in a similar veil to a painful round of charades but failed to gain herself or partner Radzi a point.
Richard Osman’s House of Games airs weekdays at 6pm on BBC Two.
