Strictly fans convinced they’ve worked out Molly and Carlos’ dance theme this week after spotting ‘clue’ in music choice

STRICTLY Come Dancing fans are convinced they have Molly and Carlos' dance theme sussed after calling out a huge "clue."

Viewers of the BBC show were stunned to see the CBBC presenter, 21, in the bottom two last week, after their Grange Hill-based Couple's Choice routine failed to tick the boxes.

Yet Halloween Week is sure to get the popular duo back on track, with Strictly Come Dancing confirming they will dance to Kate Bush track Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God.)

Kate, the 63-year-old singer-songwriter, has suddenly found herself cool again after her 1985 hit Running Up That Hill appeared in Stranger Things.

A brief scene featuring Running Up That Hill in the latest series of the Netflix sci-fi phenomenon Stranger Things has resulted in 700,000 people now streaming the song every day in the UK alone.

In the drama it is tomboy Max’s favourite song, and her friends use it to force her out of a hypnotic state.

Fans now think Netflix's recent use of the track means Molly's routine will be Stranger Things-based.

One fan took to Reddit to muse: "Molly's AT is going to be Stranger Things-themed as a pretty much certainty. I thought this was going to turn up back in July, when RUTH topped the charts solely off the back of its appearance in that show."

Another wrote: "When I saw the “Running Up That Hill” scene on r/StrangerThings, I concluded - “That's going to end up on Strictly or Dancing with the Stars."

A third then noted: "Running Up That Hill is now very strongly associated with a ”scary“ TV show."

Molly recently addressed her first Strictly dance off.

She said: "I completely get what they were saying, I guess with the theme tune and everything it wasn't quite as exciting as some of our dances have been because there wasn't a lot of places to take it. So it was more down to us to take it somewhere else..."

The dance duo were given their lowest score yet of just 30 points with a 6/8/8/8.

She added: "That was tough. I definitely had to hold back some tears because I was having so much fun and this can't be my last dance you know? And I hope I haven't let Carlos down because he's been such an amazing partner and I didn't want it to end there.

"It was a tough night."

Meanwhile, rarely-seen Kate recently revealed the real meaning behind her hit song.

Reclusive Kate rarely gives interviews or appears on television and has only ever done two major sets of live performances.

It also means Kate is the oldest female artist to reach No1, taking the record from Cher, who was 52 when Believe topped the charts in 1998.

Kate told Woman’s Hour’s Emma Barnett: “What’s really wonderful I think is that it’s this whole new audience who, in a lot of cases, they’ve never heard of me. And I love that.

“The thought of all these really young people hearing the song for the first time and discovering it, I think it’s very special."
