Friday Night Live slammed with 1.4k Ofcom complaints after transgender comedian strips completely naked
FRIDAY Night Live has been hit with 1,400 Ofcom complaints after a comedian stripped totally naked sparked backlash.
Jordan Gray was the first ever transgender person to appear on The Voice in 2016.
She performed on the rebooted sketch TV show Friday Night Live - hosted by Ben Elton - on Channel 4 last Friday to celebrate its 40th anniversary.
The comic, who was assigned male at birth before transitioning, took off her clothes at the end of her performance.
Ofcom will now decide whether it will go ahead with an investigation.
Despite trolling online, Jordan insisted her fans should resist getting involved in the "hate".

She said on Saturday: "Last night was everything. Thank you and congrats to @channel4 for giving us an absolute moment of comedy history: the return of #FridayNightLive!"
She added: "What a weekend, mate! All this love and conversation is a magical thing. To my gorgeous new followers: please be patient with those who don't understand. No hate ❤.
"Women are beautiful. Men are beautiful. NBs are beautiful. I'm just a tit with a piano. And change can be scary."
Friday Night Live on October 21 received 1,370 complaints relating to Jordan Gray's appearance on the show.
More complaints were sent the following evening after a repeat of the show's original broadcast.
An Ofcom spokesman: “We are assessing the complaints against our broadcasting rules, but are yet to decide whether or not to investigate.”
Despite this, many viewers praised Jordan for her bravery.
One said: "Well Jordan Gray was f**king hilarious, made the most of live tv and a perfect example of why Channel 4 should never be privatised."
Another added: "Honestly, Jordan Gray is one of my favourite people in the world right now. She’s just p***ed off a lot of people — but I couldn’t be happier or prouder."
