The Chase’s Darragh Ennis stuns Bradley Walsh with surprising revelation about his day job
DARRAGH Ennis left Bradley Walsh stunned during yesterday's episode of The Chase with a revelation about his day job.
TV host Bradley, 62, was presenting the hit ITV game show as four new contestants took part.
They were Belinda from Manchester, Dan from Grays, Paul originally from Norwich, and Sabine from Exmouth
The four hopefuls joined forces in the hope of winning thousands of pounds.
However, bidding to stop them in their tracks was Irish chaser Darragh Ennis.
Darragh, 42, is the newest chaser to join the show and also works as a entomologist and neuroscientist.
But the quiz master shocked host Bradley when he revealed his colleagues in the laboratory don't watch The Chase.
"Are you still working in your lab?" asked Walsh.
"Oh yeah, be back on Monday," Darragh replied.
"What do they say when they see you on the telly?" said Bradley.
"Oh most of them don't watch it [The Chase]," Darragh said as the live audience erupted into laughter.
Bradley was left stunned as he then said: "What a fantastic thing."
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
