Pearly King will perform in The Masked Dancer's grand final this weekend alongside Scissors and Onomatopoeia.

After weeks of the cockney character dropping clues on the ITV show, one fan remarked on Twitter: "MaskedDancerUK #MaskedDancerUK I think pearly king is Todd carty aka Mark fowler from eastenders, he's been in the Bill..

"Banana ... he was on fruit and veg stall on eastenders and been on dancing on ice mmm wot do u think?"

Another said: "I'm really starting to think @toddcarty is pearly King to show all the links to Grange Hill, fruit for his market stall in eastenders and the pantomime glasses on the first clip to link to his theatre. #maskeddanceruk #pearlyking"

And a third chimed: "Pearly King must be Todd Carty now! He was on The Bill and 'King of the Hill' Grange Hill! #TheMaskedDancer #MaskedDancerUK"

Other guesses include Shane Richie and Danny Dyer, with former Dancing on Ice star Ria Hebden, 39, sharing her thoughts on who could be behind the mask today.

She reeled off some telling clues and explained why she's convinced the dancing lion is EastEnders star Danny,.

She said on ITV's Lorraine: "The Pearly Kings and Queens are a famous symbol of cockney culture and Danny, of course, is a famous East Ender.

"Did you ever watch Who Do You Think You Are? - Danny is a descendant of King Edward III.
