CHATTY MAN

The Chase host Bradley Walsh’s ‘most annoying habit’ revealed by co-star Anne Hegerty

THE CHASE’S Anne Hegerty has revealed Bradley Walsh’s most annoying trait while filming the hit ITV game show.

The series, which has been on screen since 2009, has been hosted by cheeky happy Bradley since its inception 14 years ago, with Anne joining in 2010 after sweeping the boards on rival shows including Are You An Egghead?, Mastermind, and Fifteen to One.

But it seems that despite 12 years of working together haven’t got any easier, with Anne revealing the long work hours are sometimes made longer by dear ol’ Bradders.

"He sometimes has the tendency to chat on and on and on with contestants and we're sitting down at the bottom with The Chase's producer, who doubles as the show's editor, and he's like 'for goodness sake, Brad! This is all coming out' and makes snip gestures,” she told

Jenny Ryan, aka The Vixen, also added that he’s smarter than he appears, “acting dim to wind them up” on set, and he's not in the cast's WhatsApp group because they would "drive each other up the wall".

Jenny found herself in the middle of a bit of controversy this week from the series, after answering a question that sparked debate online over milk bottle colour-coding.

Asked what semi-skimmed milk is usually marked as, she was told that “red and silver” was correct, causing fans to be outraged as they know it as green.

Turns out, both is right – with red and silver being the colour top of glass bottles, with green being the plastic bottle colour.

Thankfully she took it all in good stead though, and even joked online over it all: “Enjoying the milk rants tonight!  People - green hasn't ALWAYS been the colour for semi-skimmed.

“I'm an old lady who remembers glass bottles with foil lids, and green wasn't a feature in th'olden days.”

So that clears that up!

The Chase continues weekdays at 5pm on ITV .
