Good Morning Britain in chaos as piece of set crashes to the floor
GOOD Morning Britain’s Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid got a shock today when a piece of the set crashed to the floor.
Richard was forced to apologise to viewers after a loud bang interrupted the news bulletin.
The ITV programme careered off course for a moment when the presenter heard the bang.
Richard, 60, had been reading the top stories of the day when he flinched and said: “What the heck was that? Sorry.”
Susanna had seen it happen out of the corner of her eye and jumped in: “It’s alright we’ve just upended a table.”
A flustered Richard continued: “Take the table. It’s alright. Nothing to see here. Sean is sorting it out.

“Are you alright Sean?”
Newsreader Sean Fletcher was later seen scrambling to fix the furniture while Susanna and Richard went to an advert break.
Fans celebrated Richard‘s comeback last week after fears he’d been axed over summer.
One celebrated after his two month holiday: “Yaaayyy Richard Madeley is back!!! Congratulations on being a grandad.”
However, another viewer joked: “Surely we need a proper early warning system to protect us against Richard Madeley?”
