EastEnders news LIVE: Fans in tears as Lola comes clean after shock diagnosis; plus Corrie & Emmerdale spoilers
EASTENDERS fans were left in tears after Lola Pearce made the difficult decision to come clean about her shock diagnosis this week.
In last night's episode of the BBC soap, mainstay Lola (played by Danielle Harold) learnt that she has been diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, an aggressive form of brain cancer that may not be curable.
Despite doctors orders to stay in hospital until her operation, Lola decided to head home where she made the difficult decision to come clean to her family after another dizzy spell. She gathered Billy, Honey and Ben Mitchell to reveal the truth about her diagnosis.
Fans were left in tears with one saying: "This storyline that is doing with Lola is going to be so heartbreaking," while a second added: "Honestly never cried so much when watching something but this got me."
Danielle's on-screen alter ego is set to be killed off at the end of a gut-wrenching storyline.

Emmerdale fans have grown angrier with Chas Dingle as she continues her affair with Al Chapman.
What if Paddy and Mandy Dingle could find comfort in one another?
Fans of the Yorkshire-based drama are certainly hoping to see the former couple patch things up as Chas’ affair storyline continues.

Coronation Street: Will Alina Pop ever return to the show?

As Janine and Mick Carter head back to the Square, Mick won’t be happy with who is in charge behind the bar.
When they return, Alfie Moon is making himself comfortable back behind the bar of the Vic, alongside Linda Carter.
With Mick tipped to be leaving the show in the coming weeks, could Alfie become a permanent landlord of the Queen Vic once again?
Bombshell coming back with Mick Carter
Next week there’s a bombshell waiting to be revealed as Linda Carter prepares for Mick’s return.
She mopes to Alfie Moon – who has been helping her out in The Vic during Mick’s absence – that she doesn’t want to celebrate Halloween due to her memories with Mick.
Alfie brushes off Linda’s concerns and organises an event in The Vic.
Later on, Mick and Janine return from their holiday and the landlord is disappointed to see Alfie taking part in the work at his pub.
But with the palpable chemistry he still shares with Linda, Mick soon forgets about Alfie as he connects with her again while discussing his time away.
When they almost share a moment, Janine makes it clear her relationship with Mick is getting more serious with a surprise announcement.

After builder Arnie does a shoddy job of doing work for the Barlows, he gets himself in some serious trouble.

After the storm struck the village, Sam sustained horror injuries after being impaled through the chest from tractor forks on the farm.
It seems a little far fetched to most that he would be up and about after such stomach churning injuries.

Fans beg Corrie producers to bring back ‘feisty Gail’
The character has taken an almost comedic approach in storylines recently, but fans aren’t happy about it.
One fan tweeted: “Why has GAIL turned into a doddery wimpy old woman with a pathetic little voice? Just stop! Bring back the old !!”

Pictures from the set of EastEnders show the moment Mick throws himself off a cliff and into the sea after a car carrying estranged wife Linda Carter, played by Charlie Brooks, and lover Janine Butcher flies over.
An EastEnders insider said: “Bosses are staying tight-lipped about the exact nature of Danny’s exit but there’s no way his character would go out without a bang.
