EastEnders news LIVE: Fans in tears as Lola comes clean after shock diagnosis; plus Corrie & Emmerdale spoilers

EASTENDERS fans were left in tears after Lola Pearce made the difficult decision to come clean about her shock diagnosis this week.

In last night's episode of the BBC soap, mainstay Lola (played by Danielle Harold) learnt that she has been diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, an aggressive form of brain cancer that may not be curable.

Despite doctors orders to stay in hospital until her operation, Lola decided to head home where she made the difficult decision to come clean to her family after another dizzy spell. She gathered Billy, Honey and Ben Mitchell to reveal the truth about her diagnosis.

Fans were left in tears with one saying: "This storyline that is doing with Lola is going to be so heartbreaking," while a second added: "Honestly never cried so much when watching something but this got me."

Danielle's on-screen alter ego is set to be killed off at the end of a gut-wrenching storyline.

    Emmerdale fans have grown angrier with Chas Dingle as she continues her affair with Al Chapman.

    What if Paddy and Mandy Dingle could find comfort in one another?

    Fans of the Yorkshire-based drama are certainly hoping to see the former couple patch things up as Chas’ affair storyline continues.

    “Yep, Paddy and Mandy will definitely get back together”, one Tweeted as another gushed: “Loving Paddy and Mandy getting close again… get them back together, Chas was never right for him!”

    A third viewer commented: “I wish Paddy and Mandy would get back together.”

    Later on, Mick and Janine return from their holiday and the landlord is disappointed to see Alfie taking part in the work at his pub.

    But with the palpable chemistry he still shares with Linda, Mick soon forgets about Alfie as he connects with her again while discussing his time away.

    When they almost share a moment, Janine makes it clear her relationship with Mick is getting more serious with a surprise announcement.

    Turns out it is Mason Chen Williams sending the messages, under the watchful eye of incel Eric Foster.

    Danny Dyer's final moments in Walford have been revealed, leaving EastEnders fans shocked as the icon's character seemingly jumps into the sea to his death.

    Danny Dyer, 45, will bid farewell to the BBC soap this New Year after ten years playing Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter.

    Pictures from the set of EastEnders show the moment Mick throws himself off a cliff and into the sea after a car carrying estranged wife Linda Carter, played by Charlie Brooks, and lover Janine Butcher flies over.

    An EastEnders insider said: “Bosses are staying tight-lipped about the exact nature of Danny’s exit but there’s no way his character would go out without a bang.

    “Exact details are being kept top secret but the show is pulling out all the stops to make it an explosive ending, which will no doubt leave the residents of Walford reeling.”

    Vinny was left struggling after he was brought a photo of Liv by their rescue dog.

    Fans were left in floods of tears after watching the scene.

    One said: "I've actually cried waiting for Vinnie to love her. I had to get a tissue tonight when she gave Vinnie the photo."

    A second added: "This brought tears to my eyes..."
