Coronation Street’s Andy Whyment shares snap of rarely-seen children as he celebrates his son’s birthday

ANDY Whyment has shared photos of his rarely-seen children to mark his eldest Tom's birthday.

The actor, who plays Kirk Sutherland in Coronation Street, posted a series of family snaps taken over the years, also featuring his wife Nichola, 37, and their daughter Hollie, 11.

He captioned his upload: "Happy 14th Birthday @tomwhyment 🎁🎂 enjoy your day love you son ❤️ x."

Andy's friends and followers were on hand to send birthday wishes to Tom.

His Corrie co-star Samia Longchambon wrote: "Ahh 14 how did this happen so fast?! Happy birthday Tom 💜🥳👏🏼."

Andy, 41, replied: " I know Sam it’s madness xx."

Earlier this year Andy and Nichola celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary.

To mark the special occasion Andy shared photos of their life together, including their wedding where Nichola looked stunning in a glamorous bridal gown.

Alongside the snaps, he wrote: "15 years ago today I married @nicski31 happy anniversary babe Love You ❤️❤️❤️ xxx

In the photographs, Andy and Nichola are seen smiling on the deck of their cruise trip, Andy piggy-backing his wife on a tropical beach, enjoying beers in different locations and plenty of loved-up selfies.

Andy and Nichola met in 2005 and tied the knot two years later.

And Andy previously admitted they will not be adding to their family after he underwent a vasectomy.

He said: "There's no chance of having anymore kids as I had the snip a few years ago.

"We said we wanted two kids and we have been really fortunate to have a boy and a girl."
