House of Games fans clash over celebrity line-up – but who’s in the wrong?
HOUSE of Games fans have clashed over the latest celebrity line-up.
Each week, host Richard Osman is joined by four different celebs to play a series of games.
This week, they are Steps singer Claire Richards, gardener and TV personality Diarmuid Gavin, antiques expert and presenter Roo Irvine and comedian John Kearns.
However, some House of Games fans weren't familiar with all the panel.
One wrote on Twitter: "How is Russell [sic] osman allowed to introduce the total nobodies on house of games as “ famous faces?”
"They aren’t and they never will be . Pointless is genius but “ hog” isn’t ."

Another wrote: "#houseofgames not a clue who John or Roo are?"
However, others leaped to the defence of the show bosses, with one saying: "It's usual on this show for two of the four to have only gained any degree of celebrity in the last five or six years."
Another added: "I find it so strange when people tweet saying they don't know the celebrities on shows like #HouseofGames as though it's a complaint.
"It's your pop culture knowledge that's lacking, not the casting!"

A fellow viewer replied: "It comes across as a bit narcissistic, doesn't it? If they don't know the people on the show they can't be worth knowing."
Meanwhile a third tweeted: "First week in #HouseOfGames where I’ve heard of everyone!"
House of Games airs weeknights at 6pm on BBC Two.
