With tears streaming down her face, she continued: "To have been a part of the Geordie Shore reunion and got to have sit with all of the faces that I started the show with, I never thought..."

The Newcastle beauty paused for a moment to calm herself down.

She went on: "I tried to compose myself but I'm really struggling because I think as you can all imagine just the slightest little emotional thing just tips me over the edge and the clip, I just posted was so emotional.

"I just found it so nice and it made me think about all the nice things people said on the last episode.

"And then I was like how I am so lucky and now I'm just a mess.

"So, to sum it up, thank you for saying nice things to us.";

Charlotte's latest post comes after she opened up to The Sun about where she sees her relationship with Jake Ankers going in the future.

The TV star told us: "I will be engaged by the end of next year. I am telling you now, I will be engaged by the end of next year.

"If he could Jake would propose to us now but I tell him no. I don't like to do too much at once."

She went on: "I like to have lovely long celebrations of each milestone in life and I don’t think there is any need to rush.

"I think even the end of next year would be a bit of a rush. I am about to have a baby, so let’s celebrate that, do you know what I mean."

Meanwhile, Charlotte recently admitted to breaking down in tears after becoming overwhelmed with fear ahead of the birth of her first baby.

The revelation came when a pregnant fan asked Charlotte for advice - worrying she might not be a good mum.

Charlotte replied: "This was me yesterday. I cried all morning and my mam had to give me a big pep talk.

"I'm so scared about this HUGE change in my life and I worry about it all the time.

"Don't you worry about a single thing, it's totally normal to feel that way.

"You also have raging hormones coursing around your body.";

She added: "I struggled with a bit of prenatal depression in the very beginning as well, which again is so normal.

"These feelings aren't going to last forever my girl.

"Pregnancy can be really, really tough. I've not had the easiest.

"Remember to keep talking to your loved ones about all your feelings - don't keep them bottled up."
