Apprentice winner Dr Leah Totton reveals health scare at eight months pregnant
APPRENTICE winner Dr Leah Totton has revealed her health scare at eight months pregnant.
The successful entrepreneur, 34, is expecting her first baby with partner Justin Harding, and admitted they’re “so excited” to become parents.
And while the former model says her pregnancy has been “really good” so far, she got Covid at eight months and became “quite unwell.”
In an exclusive chat with The Sun, Dr Leah shared: “I have loved being pregnant, I didn’t get any morning sickness or any symptoms at all other than some heartburn.
“However I did get Covid last week, which tends to be more severe in late pregnancy, and I was quite unwell, so that was scary.
“I have now recovered and baby is ok but was a reminder that I am eight months pregnant and I need to try to slow down a bit.”

Dr Leah launched her brand new skincare range while eight months pregnant, after seven years of research, proving she’s still as hardworking as ever before.
The star, who says she and her golfer beau are keeping their baby’s gender as a surprise, admitted she’s always wanted to be a mum.
“This is a dream for me. I am so excited to meet my little one and care for them and see them grow,” Dr Leah shared.
Adding: “I have the normal worries of any expectant mum but feel like becoming a mummy is something I am ready for, so I feel more excited than worried.
“It has been very busy juggling the new skincare brand and being pregnant at the same time.
“Dr Leah Clinics are extremely busy as I prepare to hand over to my amazing team of doctors before my maternity leave and it wasn’t the plan to launch the new skincare brand when I am 8 months pregnant, but I am fortunate that my pregnancy has been really good.
“Other than getting Covid in the past few weeks, I have been able to work normally throughout. I think in some ways being pregnant has actually made me more motivated.”
Dr Leah soared to fame after winning The Apprentice in 2013 at the age of 24, and she still maintains a close friendship with Lord Alan Sugar.
The range launches with its first two core products, the Dr. Leah Skincare Foaming Cleanser and Dr. Leah Skincare Facial Moisturise.
Of the skincare, Dr Leah shared: “On a personal level I am passionate about health and beauty and a skincare lover myself, I‘ve tried almost every skincare product that there is on the market, from your cheap and cheerful high street options to your over-priced luxury skincare lines and every medical range in between.
“It was really important to me that I created a clinically formulated range, vegan-friendly with clean yet powerful ingredients and could be used by all skin types, at any stage of their life.”
