After Celebs Go Dating‘s production team worked around the clock to make the trip happen they will now fly off to Cyprus instead.

A source exclusively told The Sun: “The stars were due to be flying off to Greece next week for the trip.

“But at the last moment it was called off because of issues with work visas and the amount of time it was going to take to have them processed.

“There was no way the show could go ahead without the trip abroad so the team worked tirelessly to make it happen.

“This series of Celebs Go Dating has gone off without a hitch so there was no way they were letting the visa issues stop them.

“Instead the stars will be flown out for filming in Cyprus now. It is going to be really special.”

Love Island star Laura signed up for the dating show following her split with Dane Bowers, while it is Towie’s Pete’s third time on the series.

Tinder Swindler star Cecille Fjellhoy is also part of the line-up.

She found fame after appearing on the hit Netflix series where she told along with two other women how she had been conned by Simon Leviev.

Cecille claimed that Simon had taken £180,000 from her and that he had tried to ruin her life.

Insiders said Cecilie had chosen to take part in the E4 show in a bid to find true love.

A source said: “Cecilie has joined the Celebs Go Dating line up and will be heading into the agency this month.

“She had a terrible time with Simon and hopes appearing on the show will give her a confidence boost.

“Cecilie wants a decent man who won’t take her for a ride. As well as meeting someone new, she thinks the show will be part of a healing process for her as she learns to trust again.”

In The Tinder Swindler, Cecilie, alongside Pernilla Sjoholm and Ayleen Charlotte were all seen trying to track down Simon, who also goes by the name Shimon Hayut.
