This week, the line up consisted of radio and TV presenter, Toby Anstis, comedy actress Kerry Howard, Swedish comic Evelyn Mok, and YouTube sensation Joe Snugg.

Throughout the week, Toby, in particular, has received backlash on social media - with some left peeved by his presence on the show.

Alongside an array of shocked-faced emojis, one person penned: "I despair at some of these celebs and their ignorance, specifically at Toby Anstis thinking Shakespeare was writing in 19th century."

Echoing their comments, someone else said: "Holy crap. Toby thinks Shakespeare was a Victorian playwright. What an idiot!"

While a third added: "Toby is so stupid, even by House of Games standards."

The celebs went head to head on a series of quiz rounds selected by the host, quiz legend Osman.

The daily winner was declared following a quick-fire round at the end of each show.

Across the week, the scores are tallied, resulting in an overall champion being crowned on Friday.

Will the winning stars opt for the much-coveted House of Games decanter, or will they be tempted with the House of Games fondue set?

The first episode was a closely fought contest between the celebrities.

But in the end Joe was announced as the winner on the show and topped the leaderboard.
