Strictly star Nikita Kuzmin’s ex-girlfriend’s cryptic Instagram messages revealed as show’s ‘curse’ strikes again

STRICTLY Come Dancing pro Nikita Kuzmin’s ex has released a series of cryptic messages amid their break-up.

The Sun exclusively reported how the duo had split – prompting stunning dancer Nicole Wirt to move out from his London flat.

The pair had been an item since 2016 with Nicole primarily based in Germany at Strictly judge Motsi Mabuse’s dance school.

Yet only a few weeks into the new Strictly Come Dancing series Nikita, 24, is said to have called time on their longstanding romance.

Now Instagram posts from Nicole published just last month have been unearthed, along with a series of telling messages.

One read: “Letting go of things that no longer serve you, will set you free #letthesunshinein.”

Meanwhile Nicole, who is currently holidaying in Mallorca, dubbed the sun-soaked break the “most fun vacation ever” – despite her apparent relationship woe.

Back in December, Nicole publicly gushed about her BBC star partner, and told fans in her image caption: “I could have never imagined how our story together would go on till this very day, but here we are in December 2021: happy & grateful for what was and hungry & excited for all the new experiences, challenges and blessings which are ahead of us.”

Yesterday, pals of the pair told us how Nicole had moved her belongings out of Nikita’s London flat.

It comes as Nikita is partnered with Ellie Simmonds in Strictly’s 20th series.

Ellie, 27, and Nikita were fifth on the leaderboard last week and got a standing ovation for their waltz on Saturday night.

Talking of their split, a source said: “Nikita wanted to totally focus on this series of Strictly and decided a while back he wanted to end his relationship with Nicole.

“They had been together for five years and it ended up being a mutual decision.

“Nicole is mainly based in Germany and she is getting busier with work.

“Nikita is totally caught up in Strictly so they decided it was for the best for them to break up.

“Nicole used to stay in London to visit Nikita but it was becoming more difficult with their schedules.

“Nikita only wants the best for Nicole and she feels the same about him.

“For now he wants to put all of his focus on Ellie and their journey on Strictly.”

In the last BBC series Ukrainian Nikita shrugged off rumours about a potential romance with celeb partner Tilly Ramsay, 20.

The pair, who came sixth, remain good friends.
