SAS Who Dares Wins star forced to quit show after fellow contestants breaks TWO of their ribs
CALUM BEST didn’t inherit his dad George’s footballing gifts – but he likes to put in a crunching tackle.
The Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins contestant broke co-star Jonathan Broom-Edwards’ ribs during the Murder Ball section on this Sunday’s episode, forcing the Paralympic high-jumper out of the competition.
Ex-model Calum, whose Man United legend dad George was one of footie’s all-greats, said: “I felt so bad. I felt so guilty.
"But then I also went, ‘It’s the name of the game, it’s bound to happen’.
“I just don’t like to be somebody that screws somebody else’s experience up.
"But it’s savage. That’s the thing.

Murderball is one the most aggressive challenges on the C4 show filmed in Jordan, which has been called “Hunger Games in the desert” by ex-Strictly star AJ Pritchard, who is also competing.
The contestants are divided into teams of four and battle to place a tyre into a goal.
The show’s instructors, including Jason “Foxy” Fox, urge the celebs to be as brutal as possible, and Calum clearly took that on board.

His challenge on Jonathan – who was born with a clubbed foot and has muscular dystrophy – happened out of bounds, where you’re not meant to make contact.
Calum added: “If he got injured from me tackling him in bounds, f***ing so be it.
"But the fact I was called out for doing it out of bounds, I thought, ‘Oh no, not only have I been called out for not doing it right, he’s got broken ribs’.”
It wasn’t just the blokes roughing each other up, though.
Boxing champ Shannon Courtenay gave ex-Brookside star Jennifer Ellison a vicious uppercut – to the horror of dancer AJ.
