Countdown viewers livid as Channel 4 CRASHES in middle of show – fuming ‘it’s an absolute shocker!’
CHANNEL 4's long-running game show Countdown had a bit of a nightmare during today's broadcast.
The afternoon programme - hosted by Colin Murray and assisted by Rachel Riley - kicked off as per usual, and nothing seemed off.
However, around half an hour into the show, at 2:40pm, viewers noticed that the show started "freezing".
After a momentary blip in the middle of one of the lexical challenges, the stream cut completely.
Countdown wasn't off air longer than ten minutes, but it was long enough for many of its loyal viewers to notice.
It didn't take long for the show's fans to share their confusion on Twitter.
