And bosses have brought in a new twist for the upcoming show – after the stars of the current series filmed their scenes in Jordan.

For the new instalment of Celebrity SAS, the stars have been flown out to Thailand.

An insider said: “Gareth is the latest big signing to have joined the Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins line-up.

“He is a fantastic name and the production team think he will make for some fantastic television.

“Gareth has flown out with his co-stars to Thailand for filming and is over there now.

“They decided to switch up the location after filming in Jordan for the series which is on screen now.

“Everyone working on the show is hugely excited about the new show and think it will be just as successful as the series that is on now.”

In last night’s episode Ferne McCann was seen breaking down in tears as she struggled to cope.

The former Towie star is on the show alongside EastEnders actress Maisie Smith and Shannon Courtenay.

She first became emotional in last night's episode after she accidentally fired at the wrong opponent when the recruits were tasked with testing their weapon training.

SAS soldier Mark ‘Billy’ Billingham tried to calm her down, but she replied: “I’m just so royally f***ed and done. My head was all over.

“I’m sick of crying, I’m not good at it.”

During her recruit interview she shared her reasons for signing up to the tough show after Mark asked why she had broken so easily.

Sobbing, the First Time Mum star said: “Out of everything I'm like right, I reckon my mind is going to be one of my strengths.

“But I wasn't really sure what I was doing and I didn't really understand.”

Ferne added: “People see me as a reality star and it really bugs me when people say I have no talent.

“But I’ve always wanted to impress and do good because I’ve got so much self-doubt. I really just want to start believing in myself.”
