Strictly Come Dancing’s results show isn’t on tonight – and for a very good reason
STRICTLY Come Dancing’s results show will not air this evening because no one gets sent home in the first week.
The results of Saturday night’s dance competition are usually revealed on a Sunday evening and will do from next week onwards.
During the results show the scores from the judges on the first show and the public vote will be combined 50-50 and then announced.
Then the two couples with the lowest number of points from a combination of judges’ scores and the results of the vote will go into a dance-off.
After they both perform their dance again, the judges will decide which couple will stay in the competition.
In the case of a tie in the judges’ decision, Head Judge Shirley Ballas, has the all-important final casting vote and gets to send the unlucky couple home.
