Crossfire viewers slam ‘worst’ ending of BBC drama as Keeley Hawes thriller reaches climax
CROSSFIRE viewers have slammed its "ridiculous" finale - raging the show "should've been abandoned" after the first episode.
The BBC thriller came to a dramatic end on Thursday night, as viewers were left on the edge of their seats as a final scene played out.

Led by Keeley Hawes, the three-part series tells the tale of a woman on a family holiday whose life gets turned upside down when gunmen suddenly open fire.
The first episode left fans watching in fear as they watched the friends and their children become separated while trying to seek safety.
However, in the second episode, those watching at home were left ridiculing how long it took for the police to arrive.
As a result, expectations heading into tonight's episode were already hanging in the balance.

And as the final scenes aired, viewers soon took to Twitter in their droves, with many left dubbing the series as a "complete waste of time".
Alongside an array of angry-faced emojis, one person penned: "The ending to Crossfire was absolutely dreadful. That's three hours of my life that I'll never get back."
Echoing their comments, someone else said: Why on earth I wasted 3 hours of my life watching is beyond me..."
While a third added: "Crossfire has to go down as one of the worst and self-indulgent dramas in a very long time."
Others, unable to watch its gory scenes in the first episode, likened the thriller to the 2015 Tunisia terror attack.
In 2015, Imperial Marhaba hotel in the Mediterranean resort of Sousse was hosting 565 guests when Seifeddine Rezgui launched an attack on people on the beach.

He used a Kalashnikov assault rifle he had concealed in a beach umbrella to fire at tourists.
The terrorist then entered the hotel, gunning down tourists who crossed his path - in total 38 people were killed, 30 of them British.
