Towie star breaks down in floods of tears after losing her ‘dream home’ in cruel twist

TOWIE star Lydia Bright has shared her struggle after being left without a home and in tears as a result.

The 31-year-old reality star shared a candid post on social media about her house hunt which has left her living at home with mum and dad, Debbie and Dave Bright.

Lydia posed in bed with a towel on her head and wore matching pyjamas with her adorable two-year-old daughter, Loretta.

The star’s parents could be seen sitting either side of her in the bed in the playful snaps, and she penned: “Good things comes those who wait... After ten months of hunting, selling my first ever property and moving back to my parents whilst we waited to exchange.

“We were just about to start our next chapter, at our ‘forever home.’ However, last week at the final stages I got the dreaded call, ‘the sellers no longer want to sell.’ I cried A LOT.”

Despite her situation, Lydia continued to say she is “lucky” to be living with her parents, and added: “I am so lucky that I have my parents’ house that also comes with unlimited childcare.

“Loretta is also so happy we are staying a little longer as this month we welcomed a beautiful new baby to our home. So its looks like I need to get my knits and coats out of storage, whilst I work out what’s bloody next.

“The search for the ‘Rose Bright’ home continues …”

Lydia’s comments were flooded by support from fans and friends, including Towie co-star Georgia Kousoulou who wrote: “Can I move in with the childcare pls lol what’s meant to be will be my bub!”

Ashley James also added her support, writing: “Oh noooo I'm so sorry lovely - but the next place will be even better. And also, can I move into the Bright house - it looks so fun!”

And Towie star Jess Wright added: “Awww no place like home with your family,” followed by a string of love heart emojis.

Lydia was one of the Towie originals, appearing on the show 2010, where her relationship with James 'Arg' Argent played out on screen.

She went on to star in a variety of other shows including The Jump, Celebrity Mastermind and Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls.

The blonde beauty welcomed her baby daughter in February 2020.

Confirming the news on Instagram, she wrote: "My darling girl has arrived. I am so overwhelmed with love, she is absolutely perfect."

The new mum shared a precious snap of her newborn grabbing her mum's thumb with the post.

Lydia shares Loretta with her ex-boyfriend Lee Cronin, and despite no longer being together, Lee remained a big part of her pregnancy and attended all her appointments with her.

Lydia once told her followers: “Our baby was very much planned and we are both very excited for her arrival. Lee has been at every scan.”
