The new teaching assistant is moving with a family to Scotland to help teach their deaf daughter Esme.

Mick told his daughter to move if it will make her happy.

She told him that she feels like she is making a difference which prompted Mick to tell her to go.

However fans were not happy about Franke's rushed exit.

Taking to Twitter, one said: "Frankie's exit is so rushed. She deserves better."

Another wrote: "Wait what! Esme's dad had asked Frankie to relocate with them from London to Scotland because he's been so impressed with all her hard work & help.

"But she only started in the job about a week ago, 2 at tops! So how can he say that. It literally makes no sense."

A third penned: "Too soon to lose Frankie."

Rose first appeared as Frankie in EastEnders in 2020 searching for her dad.

She was part of a harrowing storyline about child abuse when she found out Mick was only 12 when she was born.

She supported him through his court case when her mum was found guilty.

More recently, Frankie was sexually harassed during a night out and decided to report it to the police.

But there was little they could do due to a lack of identify and description.

This prompted the teaching assistant to call out inappropriate behaviour from men and prompt women to stand up for themselves.

Speaking about her exit from the soap, Rose said: "It’s been incredibly special to be EastEnders’ first regular deaf actor.

"I have loved my time on the show and Frankie has been such an awesome character to play, however now feels like the right time for me to move on and I am excited and ready for new challenges.

"I will always treasure my time on the show and all the incredible people I have worked with, who have supported my growth as an actor these last two years and given me so many amazing memories."

Executive Producer, Chris Clenshaw, added: "I have only had the pleasure to work with Rose for a short time but she has always been an incredible asset to EastEnders; not just as a phenomenal actor, but as an amazing company member too.
