The tweet surfaced shortly after Holly and Phil broke their silence on This Morning over skipping the queue to see the Queen lying in state.

Hundreds replied to Domino's Pizza, with one writing: "They aren't going to eat the pizza, they ordered it in their capacity as VIP journalists; they're just going to look at the pizza from a distance & report on it with a smartphone.

"They assure the plebs that no pizzas were delayed as a result."

However, another lept to Holly and Phil's defence and said: "Don't you start. Leave them alone, it's just bullying now."

Another scolded Domino's Pizza and said: "Well, that was in poor taste. A bit like a scabby pre-packed topping Domino’s Pizza."

Others ignored the Holly and Phil drama, as one desperately wanted to know from the person managing Domino's Pizza's Twitter account: "While you're there, are half and half pizzas coming back?"

Meanwhile, The Chase star Mark Labbett waded in with a meme of Phillip Schofield's WeBuyAnyCar.com advert and replaced the online car vendor's name with WeJumpAnyQueue.com.

One more circulating compared Phil to Mr Bean with footage showing Bean (Rowan Atkinson) running past a queue of people lining up to enter a shop during the sales.

Despite being eligible to enter Westminster Hall without joining the public queue the pair continue to be targeted on Twitter.

This Morning viewers shared their frustration after Holly and Phil said they "understand" the backlash but "would never jump a queue" and were in Westminster Hall "strictly for the purpose of reporting on the event".

One viewer tweeted: "Pathetic excuse. The 3 of them @hollywills @Schofe #MartinFrizell seen a loophole to jump the queue. Since when do any of them go to an outside filming piece. Lost the last bit of trust they had with the viewers @itv #ThisMorning @thismorning"

However, some were supportive of the pair with one tweeting: "Holly and Phillip didn’t jump the queue... there’s worst things in the world that are happening right now."

Another called their explanation that they were there to cover the event for This Morning "perfectly reasonable".

Holly and Phil went to see the Queen lying in state without joining the long queue like David Beckham and Susanna Reid on Friday.

ITV insisted they "did not file past the Queen's coffin" on Friday but were being escorted to work from the press gallery by government staff.
