Ridley viewers all have the same complaint over Adrian Dunbar’s character
RIDLEY fans have all been left saying the same thing as the new drama drew to a close.
ITV’s latest Sunday night drama has had people talking for weeks but it appears to be one recurring element that fans are not too pleased with.
The drama stars Line of Duty favourite Adrian Dunbar as Ridley as he puts his detective hat on to solve a number of local mysteries.
The ITV series was co-created by Paul Matthew Thompson and Jonathan Fisher.
Despite it being well-received by many viewers, Adrian Dunbar’s hidden talent has not gone down well at all with fans pleading for it to be axed should the show make a return in the future.
Adrian’s character Ridley broke into song during each episode showcasing his surprise singing ability.

One annoyed viewer wrote: “That singing #Ridley is awful.”
A second disgruntled viewer added: “@ITV Imagine creating #Ridley as a series, & f***ing it up with the whole Jazz singing b****cks? Why? Could have nailed a proper series there... #sh**houses”
A third fumed: “Wonder if #ridley gets some therapy he’ll stop singing ��”
Another fan said: “Loved the entire series,very Vera esque. Hopefully a 2nd series but please no more singing #Ridley”
It comes after viewers expressed their shock when Dunbar’s singing voice was debuted in the very first episode.
Since retiring, Adrian’s character Ridley has been running a jazz club.
Fans of Adrian - who plays Ted Hastings in Line of Duty - did not expect the actor to have such a good voice, and took to Twitter to comment on his secret talent.
One wrote: "Loved loved loved #Ridley @bronaghwaugh @georgebukhari and #AdrianDunbar can sing absolutely brilliant."
Another tweeted: "Wow! Adrian Dunbar can sing! Album out for Xmas?!! #Ridley."
Adrian is most known for starring in the BBC hit Line of Duty alongside Martin Compston and Vicky McClure which garnered record-breaking viewing figures for its latest series.
