Coronation Street’s Ellie Leach shares snap of rarely-seen sister on her birthday

CORONATION Street star Ellie Leach has shared a snap of her rarely-seen sister Daisy on her birthday.

The star, 21, took to social media to share a string of sweet images of herself and her sister together to mark the occasion.

Ellie’s sister was turning 14, and she wished her sister a happy birthday while sharing a throwback snap of them hugging.

In another, Ellie, who plays Faye Windass, penned: “Hope you have the best day and get spoilt,” while dressed up at an event and posing with her brunette younger sister.

In another snap, the lookalike pair smile next to each other in front of a balloon arch with the Corrie star telling her sister she’s “so proud” of who her sister is becoming.

Ellie also shared a series of videos of her sister when she was young singing to Katy Perry, and penned: “Watch out Katy Perry.”

The soap star also has a surprise relative who also starred on hit soap Coronation Street.

Viewers may not know that Ellie’s cousin is Brooke Vincent, known for her role as Sophie Webster on the show.

Ellie, who is eight years younger, joined the soap in 2009, playing Faye Windass – making them stepsisters on screen.

But in real life, the girls are cousins – and Ellie is godmother to Brooke’s son Mexx.

Last month, Ellie wowed fans with her amazing transformation and looked worlds away from her onscreen character.

Taking to Instagram, Ellie shared a new selfie with her fans, leaving them in awe.

In the snap Ellie is wearing a gorgeous white vest top and has a freshly blow-dried hair-do, which shows off her silky curls.

One fan called the star “beautiful” while another told her she was “rather cute”.

“Just love how natural you are and how you play the part so well,” said another user.

“You look fab, hope to see Faye in corrie a little bit more.”
