Carol Vorderman breaks down in tears watching Queen’s coffin as she remembers her late mum
CAROL Vorderman got very emotional watching the Queen's coffin as she remembered her late mum.
Earlier today the 61-year-old took to Instagram to reflect on the death of Her Majesty Elizabeth II.
On Thursday it was revealed that Queen Elizabeth had peacefully died aged 96 after 70 years of remarkable service.
This morning her Majesty's final journey before being laid to rest began, as she was taken from Balmoral castle to Edinburgh.
Today Carol took to Instagram to pay tribute to the Monarch.
Sharing a video of the Queen being driven in a hearse from earlier today, Carol said: "As the Queen's coffin begins its long journey from Balmoral to Edinburgh, and then onto London, there will be many of us who will shed tears for those we lost, particularly for our mothers and fathers and grandmothers and grandfathers and Uncles and Aunts who were born and lived through similar decades to Her Majesty.

"They saw the biggest changes the world has ever known, bigger than our generations will ever see."
The news made her reflect on moments in her personal life.
Carol added: "I'm remembering my Mum right now as I'm sure you're remembering those you loved too.
"May the journey be calm, and may we remember them all as we know they would want to be remembered.

Carol lost her mum Jean in 2017 after her fourth battle with cancer.
Queen Elizabeth's body was taken through a number of Scottish towns today, beginning with Aberdeen.
The procession has now reached Edinburgh, and the Queen's coffin has been carried into Holyroodhouse.

The Queen's coffin will remain in Edinburgh until Midday on Monday.
Her Majesty's funeral, which is expected to take place at Westminster Abbey in central London, will take place on Monday, September 19.
