THE ONE Show’s Ronan Keating took a cheeky swipe at One Direction as Louis Tomlinson appeared on BBC’s The One Show.
Fans were thrilled to see Louis when he made an appearance on the programme – and of course Ronan had to throw in a boyband comment.
The One Show host Ronan took a naughty dig at the former One Direction singer just minutes into the BBC programme.
Louis appeared on the show to talk about his recent world tour dates, new single and upcoming album.
Former Boyzone member, Ronan was introducing the famous singer to the viewers at home when he made a cheeky joke suggesting Boyzone were better than One Direction.
Ronan said: "Let's say hello to our guest. He was one fifth of the mighty One Direction."

He then took a bold swipe at Louis and quipped: "Arguably the second best boyband of all time..."
Co-presenter, Alex chimed in to defend Louis, and hit back at Ronan: "Oh, yeah?"
After realising the joke he made may have been a bit harsh, Ronan winced: "I'm going to get in trouble for that one!"
Later on in the show, Louis answered fans burning questions, with one fan asking if he'd be playing a guitar at any of his upcoming shows.

Louis said he was up for the challenge and that he just needed to have the confidence to "get up there and play it".
Adding: "I think I've just got to be confident and do it."
The former One Direction singer also admitted he felt "nervous" performing his new song Bigger Than Me live during his recent world tour, adding : "I was nervous, I'm not going to lie, I was nervous."
Louis' second album Faith In The Future, will be released in November and follows his recently released single Bigger Than Me, which he performed for the first time on stage as he completed his mammoth tour.
