Torchwood cast: Where are the stars of the BBC show now?
THE Doctor Who spin-off Torchwood collected a lot of passionate fans despite only airing for four seasons.
The show aired between 2006 and 2011 and some of the cast have gone on to appear in some of the best British dramas. Here is what the case are doing now.
Where are the cast of Torchwood now?
Captain Jack Harkness - John Barrowman
Since appearing on Torchwood John Barrowman spent more time on TV sci-fi dramas Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow and he was in US drama Desperate Housewives too.
He made a big appearance on 2018's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in which he managed to come third after charming viewers by showing his flamboyant side.
Aside from appearing on the small screen, John has been a familiar face in Cardiff as he's appeared in panto at the New Theatre and had a home in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Gwen Cooper - Eve Myles
Eve Myles has seen her career rocket since appearing in Torchwood.
Her blockbuster TV hit Keeping Faith gained fans across the world.
Aside from reprising the role of Gwen Cooper in the Torchwood radio plays, Eve has also starred in the GOLD series You, Me & Them, as Mrs Jenkins in ITV's Victoria and as Claire Ripley in the second series of Broadchurch.
In 2018, she played the role of Norman Scott's lover Gwen Parry-Jones in the BBC drama A Very English Scandal.
Ianto - Gareth David-Lloyd
Newport actor Gareth is still on the scene with appearances in Holby City, Warren and he appeared in the SyFy film, Red Faction: Origins.
He's still recording Torchwood audio dramas and is often seen on the stage and at comic cons.
In November 2018, he began appearing on BBC One medical drama Casualty as Joshua Bowers.
Rhys Williams - Kai Owen
Kai was not a new face to TV before his role on Torchwood.
Many S4C viewers new him for his role as Kev the roofer in Tipyn O Stad and as a loan shark in Pobol Y Cwm.
After leaving Torchwood he had roles in The Syndicate, Waterloo Road and Being Human.
In 2015, Owen had his big break and joined the cast of the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks playing Pete Buchanan.
After playing the role until a year later, he made a brief return in 2018. He is also set to reprise the role in April 2021.
However, in 2021 he revealed that he has quit acting to become a personal trainer.
Burn Gorman - Owen Harper
Owner Harper has gone on to rack up some stage time as Bill Sikes in the West End revival of Oliver in 2008.
He's also appeared in Pacific Rim and Pacific Rim: Uprising, The Dark Knight Rises, Martina Cole's The Runaway and of course, as Karl Tanner in Game of Thrones.
In more recent years you'll have seen him in Turn: Washington's Spies and The Man in the High Castle.
Toshiko Sato - Naoko Mori
Noako Mori was part of the show for two series and was killed off by Jack's unstable brother.
After appearing in Torchwood she starred in series two of horror The Terror, based on Dan Simmons novel.
