Moments earlier, the Liverpool lad makes a point of telling the room: "I think these men are amazing. How lucky is everyone?"

He also turns to Duka, and asks: "Are you okay? Because I think you're lovely, I really do."

Duka flashes a big smile and replies: "I'm golden, thank you!"

The tension can be cut with a knife before finally puts one hand to her face and sobs silently.

Fellow bride Kasia eventually takes her out of the room as she continues to cry.

Whitney, a PA from St Albans, along with 14 others has agreed to marry a stranger in the reality TV experiment.

She refused to pretend that it wasn't a wacky thing to do and was seen rolling her eyes at the altar on her wedding day.

She then came under fire from fans for accusing Duka of being fake and for saying he wasn't tall enough at 6ft 2in.

Whitney has since been on the receiving end of vile trolling after fans branded her "the worst bride ever" and her Married at First Sight UK co-stars hit out at her.

She discussed the backlash and growing pile of horrible comments taking over her DMs in an exclusive interview with The Sun.

"I’ve got a really good support network around me thankfully. I mean my friends and family have been amazing, but of course the whole social media, the comments, the DMs, it’s a lot. It’s a lot to process," she said.

"People need to think about how their actions and words might affect others. Because it’s kind of unnecessary going into someone’s DMs and saying the things I’ve been sent."

She added about getting death threats: "Yeah. I’ve had a lot of intense messages and they're from people much older than me and I find it quite bizarre to be honest.

"I’m trying to stay positive."
