The Suspect fans all have the same complaint about Aiden Turner as Poldark star returns to screens

THE Suspect fans all had the same complaint tonight about Aiden Turner - and it wasn't do with the show or his acting.

The new ITV drama continued tonight with the hunky Poldark star, 39, playing the lead character of Joe O'Loughlin.

Fans are used to seeing handsome Irish star Aidan as the clean shaven, long haired Ross Poldark.

But for The Suspect, he has switched up his look and has short hair and a HUGE beard.

And despite the new drama's gripping storyline, it was Aidian's new facial hair which has got everyone talking.

Taking to Twitter, viewers were not happy about the actor's beard on the show.

One tweeted: "Now for E2 of #TheSuspect 😎 Mind you, with that ridiculous beard he must be guilty, surely? 🤠

While this one said: "#TheSuspect Not at all keen on Aiden Turner with a beard ☹️"

Another viewer commented: "I remain unhappy with regard to Aidan’s beard #TheSuspect."

This fan tweeted: "Hooked on #TheSuspect already 👌 #AidanTurner .. Shame about the beard / short hair though 🤷🏻‍♀️"

While another said: "Oh I do like Aiden Turner! Not keen on the beard though tbh. He's too good looking to hide away his pretty-boy face behind a beard! #TheSuspect"

Tonight The Suspect viewers watched as the plot thickened around Aidan's character, clinical psychologist Dr Joe O’Loughlin.

After being brought in to help in the murder investigation of a young nurse, he is now the number one suspect.

Joe is convinced there’s something sinister at play, and his paranoia leads him to suspect that one of his patients may know something about the murder.

But the more threads Joe picks at, the more entangled he becomes.

Meanwhile, as Detectives Ruiz and Devi are hunting for new evidence in their case, and a surprising breakthrough turns the spotlight back on Joe.

But he has his own theory about who might have murdered the young woman, but the police are not convinced.
