Nick Knowles risks wrath of the BBC as he shows off £2,850 designer watch on Instagram
DIY SOS host Nick Knowles has risked the wrath of the BBC after showing off his £2,850 designer watch on Instagram.
The TV star appeared to plug the watch brand as he was holidaying in the Grand Canyon - tagging the company on a stories post.
Nick, 59, revealed the £2,850 wrist watch as he photographed the Skybridge in Arizona in the background.
Tagging the watch brand, he appeared to plug the brand in an advertising move - risking the wrath of the BBC.
He previously found himself in hot water after taking part in a cereal advert for Shreddies - breaching the rules of his contract.
Nick played a builder in the commercial, and was threatened with the axe - but the broadcaster made an 11th hour U-turn.

He said: “I have always said that DIY SOS is more than just a presenting job for me, it’s part of me.
“It has my heart and working for the BBC for over 22 years is something I have never taken for granted.
“I will continue filming new episodes of DIY SOS over the coming months and will be back on your screens with the purple shirts next year.”

His big money deal with BBC was at odds with Beeb rules, prompting a major dispute in which he was threatened with the axe if he did not pull out of the campaign.
His future on DIY SOS looked bleak as cereal makers Nestlé refused to scrap the ads — which were already being aired and had been paid for.
But BBC chiefs spared him after The Sun focused on his situation and highlighted his popularity with viewers and his charity work.
However, fans were left disappointed months later when Nick hinted that the show might be CANCELLED for good.
The long-running presenter took to Twitter to detail how the broadcasting company hadn't commissioned any more episodes.
Nick explained that only ONE episode of the show had been commissioned, and it was for the charity show Children In Need.
"Sadly, we are only commissioned by BBC One for one build this year for Children In Need, and as yet not commissioned for any builds next year," he wrote to his fans.
"We know there is great need and we can help many more people and communities so we are hopeful of getting news soon."
Fans flooded the comments section to respond as they lamented the loss of the TV show from their screens this year.
