Emmerdale fans gobsmacked as Amelia Spencer’s baby daddy is FINALLY revealed

EMMERDALE fans have been left gobsmacked after Amelia Spencer’s baby daddy was FINALLY revealed.

The teenager discovered she was pregnant last month on the ITV soap, and despite initially opting to have an abortion, she decided to keep the baby.

Fans have been desperately trying to work out who the baby’s father is, with a number of villagers in the frame.

But tonight’s hour long episode finally revealed who the baby daddy is, and it may not have been who many fans had predicted.

Some were convinced it was Jacob Gallagher but that didn’t turn out to be the case.

One scene saw Noah Dingle telling Samson about his kiss with Amelia, but Samson was quick to put her down and questioned why Noah was interested in her.

Taking offence, Noah marched off and said: “At least I’ve got someone.”

But he stopped in his tracks when Samson replied: “As it happens, someone I’ve already had.”

Samson then revealed he had slept with Amelia at a party “a while ago”.

But it was his turn for a shock when Noah said: “She’s pregnant mate”.

Samson’s day went from bad to worse when on the way to the prom, they bumped into Amelia, and he asked if he was the dad.

She replied: “Who else it could have been? It’s only been you!”

When he asked why she hadn’t told him, she cried: “Samson! You’ve hardly spoken to me since the party when you know…”

He replied: “Yeah I know what we did, and I wish we hadn’t.”

Their raised voices soon caught the attention of their suspected parents, with Amelia’s dad Dan arriving to warn Noah away from his daughter.

But she soon stopped him in his tracks when she revealed she was pregnant, and Samson was the dad.

Meanwhile Sam dragged his son home to find out what had happened before Lydia put the teen in his place when he tried to blame Amelia for the situation they had found themselves in.

The episode ended with Dan trying to console his daughter over what had happened, and fans were quick to comment on the big reveal on Twitter.

One wrote: “Samson proving he isn’t thick then being thick acting as if only his life will be ruined and not Amelia’s too, nice one”

Another added: “Love to know if the writers have forgotten he was actually decent kid and had a crush on Amelia, or if they remember but just don’t care that it’s a total 180”
