A Place in the Sun’s Danni Menzies left grinding her teeth as couple rip into ‘claustrophobic’ home
A RECENT episode of A Place in the Sun saw presenter Danni Menzies grimacing as a couple tore into a viewing.
The Channel 4 show, which aims to find Brits their perfect home abroad, welcomed couple Ian and Anne.
They were looking for a two-bedroom property over in Spain's popular hotspot, Benidorm,
However, they only had a budget of £100,000 to find the property, and had pretty high expectations considering.
One awkward moment left Danni looking very awkward as they criticised one of the apartments she had lined up for them to view.
Ian and Anne's requirements were that they wanted the two bedrooms apartment with a balcony or a terrace, it also needed to have access to a communal pool, and be within walking distance of the beach.

They were taken to a range of Spanish abodes by Danni, one of which was a 14th floor flat in Rincon De Loix.
At £104,000, it was slightly over budget, and Danni highlighted the incredible view.
Whilst Ian seemed initially impressed with the flat, stating: "I love the view," things quickly took a turn.
Danni had referred to the kitchen as "cosy", when in reality it was barely a kitchen, with a couple tiny units.

Anne was quick to comment, saying: "I’m finding it quite compact.”
Ian added: “The kitchen’s like something you’d see in a boat!”
Anne then told Danni: “This feels a wee bit claustrophobic to me, they’ve got a big unit and there's a table and chairs.”
The flat did have a lot of huge, chunky, dark furniture filling up the space, which made it seem even smaller.
Danni explained: "I think that’s the thing, in these smaller apartments, it’s not uncommon to have massive chunky furniture which makes it feel a bit smaller.”

She asked the couple: "Is there anything that can change your mind on this property?”
Neither Anne nor Ian hesitated, instantly replying with “no”, and it was on to the next property.
