EastEnders’ Suki actress Balvinder Sopal looks nothing like her character as she poses in her swimsuit on holiday

EASTENDERS actress Balvinder Sopal delighted her fans as she shared a series of pictures from holiday.

The star, 42, looked nothing like her onscreen character Suki as she enjoyed a day aboard a boat.

The actress showed off her relaxed style compared to Suki

Showing off her own sense of style, Balvinder wore a floral dress before slipping into her swimsuit to take a dip in the sea.

She told her fans: “The Mediterranean Sea, Clean, Clear, Salty, Safe to swim in, (And a dodgy pose 🤪).”

Her cast mates Milly Zero and Dayle Hudson rushed to comment on the snap with smiley faces with heart emojis.

Balvinder is best known for her role as matriarch Suki Panesar on the hit BBC soap.

The character played by Anil Goutam had been blackmailing her into spending a night with him, promising her an important business venture.

When she tried to defend herself, Suki ended up hitting Ranveer over the head.

Viewers know that his son Ravi actually killed him off when trying to cover up Suki’s actions – but she believes it was her.

It comes after she became estranged from her children following a major fallout over Jag’s death last year.

Speaking previously about being part of the soap, Suki told Inside Soap: “I love seeing the Panesars at the forefront of the storylines, not just in for diversity or representation.

“I want us to be just like the Carters or the Truemans or the Mitchells – interesting as a family, but also authentic to where we come from.

“Even with Kheerat’s line recently [Kheerat declared his turban wasn’t a hat, but ‘a crown’], Sikh people rejoiced about the fact that, in a single line, they had been represented. It’s a delicate balance – and it’s important that we get it right.”
