LOVE Island's Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri made their presenting debut on This Morning today.

The pair fronted a competition, appearing alongside a chilly-looking swimming pool in his native Guernsey.

But not everyone was impressed by Tasha and Andrew - who came fourth on Love Island this series.

One This Morning viewer tweeted: "Tasha & Andrew sound like they are reading to the class in school."

Another groaned: "Oh don't start having love Islanders doing the comps."

The clip - introduced by This Morning's Ruth Langsford - opens with Andrew, 27, asking: "Tasha, you know what they say?

"You can take the couple out of Love Island but you can't take the Love Island out of the couple."

She replied: "Andrew, I don't think anyone has ever said that. But you are kind of right."

Another clip sees him tell viewers: "Hello from the beautiful island of Guernsey.

"I bought Tasha back to my home to show her all the sights but also to tell everyone at home how they can win a prize worth over £50,000."

The pair then outlined how people could spend the cash with some Love Island-esque suggestions including walking slow-mo by a villa's pool.

One viewer tweeted: "Why would anyone want to be filmed doing a 'Slow Mo Walk'.... what a waste of money......just don't get it."

Some were also unimpressed to see the crossover between the two ITV juggernauts, with one posting: "2 Love Islanders doing the competition??!!!"

A third said, referring to the earlier appearance of Amber Davies: "Is today a Love Island special??"

Andrew revealed today that he wants to get married, saying: "I love everything about Tasha. I don’t think I’ll be waiting four years if it carries on like this."

Villa stars are likely to feature heavily across the ITV network in the months to come.

Winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti have bagged a reality and cooking show where they'll visit one another's countries.

They are due to visit Turkey and Italy and meet each other's families again in a new series for ITV2.
