Coronation Street’s Millie Gibson shares emotional farewell message after soap leaving bash
CORONATION Street star Millie Gibson has shared an emotional farewell to fans as she waves goodbye to the show.
The actress - who is best known for playing Kelly Neelan on the ITV soap - threw a leaving bash after announcing her departure.
Millie, 18, was spotted looking glam at the leaving drinks last week, as she was joined by a number of her soap co-stars.
She announced her departure from Corrie after four years as teenager Kelly earlier this year, much to fans disappointment.
Following the party last night, she took to Instagram to pen an emotional message to her fans, thanking them for their support.
"Now that the news is out about me exiting the cobbles, I just wanted to say I've had the most incredible four years," she penned.

"Growing up here, I've made long lasting friendships, learnt so much and I am forever grateful for my time and the storylines I have been given.
"I'm really looking forward to you guys seeing the future episodes coming up and I can't think Corrie enough for letting me be a small piece in this beautiful family.
"Kelly Neelan will be a part of my heart always. Thank you all for being so supportive."
The soap actress shared a photo of her character Kelly alongside the emotional message, as well as a red heart emoji.

It comes after Millie was seen being joined by a crowd of Coronation Street stars at her leaving bash in Manchester last week.
After a turbulent few years on the cobbles, her character Kelly Neelan is waving goodbye to Weatherfield in upcoming episodes.
She proved her popularity by drawing a huge crowd of Corrie actors and legends for a send off at The Alchemist bar in Salford Quays.
She was spotted linking arms with a glam Tanisha Gorey, who plays Dev's daughter Asha Alahan, and snapping selfies with Gary Windass actor Mikey North and Simon Barlow star Alex Bain.

The Sun previously revealed Millie's character will last be seen in the ITV soap this autumn - with a dramatic exit storyline.
A Corrie source said: “Millie’s a huge talent. Everyone has been sworn to secrecy over her exit storyline. It's going to be explosive."
